The Windows Command Prompt is a command-line interface that allows users to type commands and execute them. It is common for people to want the Command Prompt window to be transparent. Luckily, there are several ways in which this can be achieved.
Make the Windows command prompt transparent using Command Prompt properties
1. Open the windows command prompt by typing command prompt in the search bar of the start menu. Another way is to press the Windows key + R key combination and type cmd.
2. Right-click on the title bar of the Command Prompt window and select Properties.
3. Go to the Colors tab. There will be slider for Opacity at bottom of the window. By default it is set to 100 percent.
4. Adjust the slider to your preference. You can reduce it up to 30 percent. Choose a percent that is less visible than your desktop background, but still visible enough for you to see what is being typed in the Command Prompt window.
5. Click OK to confirm your changes and close out of the Properties window.

Using the above method the changes will not be permanent. To make sure the changes made to properties to make windows command prompt transparent, make sure to follow one last step.
Once you get the Command Prompt icon in the windows search, right-click on it and select "Pin to taskbar". The next time when you open the command prompt from the taskbar, you should be able to see your last changes.
